Every Family Deserves to Feel Cared For
There With Care exists to ease that load with compassion, speed, and support tailored to each family's needs.
A critical illness diagnosis doesn't just affect a child it reshapes life for the whole family. Parents often step away from work, siblings' routines are disrupted, and families may need to relocate, sometimes for months, to be near hospitals like Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford or UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital San Francisco.
Once a family is referred to us through one of our hospital partners, our program coordinators connect with them to understand what they need by looking at the whole family, including siblings and caregivers. With the help of a community of more than 400 volunteers, we provide practical, thoughtful support that brings stability during a fragile time.
Food Security: Grocery deliveries along with Easy Meal Care Bags help ensure families have access to warm, nutritious meals.
Transportation Assistance: Gas cards and ride share gift cards help families get to treatments, school, and activities, and visit a child who is hospitalized.
Home Stability: Cleaning products and household supplies help keep a family's home clean and safe.
Patient & Family Essentials: Children's clothing, strollers, cribs, diapers, books, toys, toiletries and more help meet the everyday needs of each family member.
Each month, volunteers deliver more than 450 bags of groceries and 300 care bags. Each one is a small, tangible reminder that a family isn't facing this alone.
